DBSK's Japanese Messages.

Mar 12, 2009 13:49

I guess inside the Survivor single, the boys wrote messages to their Japanese fanclub. I eyed the scans on ALLKPOP.com and transcribed them here. I'll go back and translate in a minute.

Okay, I added the translations too. Let me know if you see any mistakes. :D!

Feel free to repost and spread wherever you want.

I read those messages when I gots my singles and I also thought "well nothing special but still cute" and then I eyed Yunnie's typo and I had to laugh out loud! xD

I mean it's kinda fail that he's writing THSK (東方神起) in hiragana but he actually forgot an "u". Instead of touhoushinki, he wrote tohoushinki. It's kinda THE major fail to misspell your own groups name, even if it's in a foreign language xD~

8DDDDDD You know I didn't even notice that at first, lol. I was so intent on getting each hiragana right that I kinda spaced that he spelled it wrong. 8D Oh, Yunho. He made lots of little mistakes throughout too, like apparently butchering the katakana for "stylish" halfway through. 8DDD

Oh well. He tried. :D! Dunno why he didn't just write the kanji. With how much they flash it around, I'm sure he knows how to write it. 8D

I was also recognizing he had some trouble handling his pen xD~ But it's still kinda cute~! I think I seen them writing the kanji for thsk already, wonder why he didn't do so. It surely wud've been easier, but maybe he didn't wanna embarrass himself by using some kind of a false stroke order xD~

And yeah I also found it hard to read their handwritings >o<'' But I shudn't complain, mine's a total failure as well x3~

Yeah, using the kanji would've been better... I dunno why he didn't. 8D Oh well.

I can tell he had some issues with writing but honestly these were MUCH easier to read than the Super Junior Japanese messages I translated a few weeks ago. :/ Oh my god my eyes hurt after trying to decipher that chicken scratch. 8DDDDD So in comparison, DBSK's Japanese handwriting is wonderful (though somehow Yoochun just has bad handwriting all around... I heard he's got bad handwriting in Korean? He's bad in English and bad in Japanese, too 8DDD)

JJ's hand writing is so bad xD I could barely understand what he wrote up there. Junsu's is nice.
I'm sure Yunho forgot about the extra 'u'.♥ I know I usually forget to write them when using hiragana. ^^;

Ty for the translation.

LOL I think Jaejoong was aiming for "stylized" handwriting but kinda missed the mark and landed around "messy." 8DDDD Ahh well.

No problem. :D Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it. :D

Lmao true true. Love him way too much. 8D

I was wondering, have the boys ever learned any Kanji? I'm kind of new to DBSK. Well not really but still. .__.;

Well, I'm not the most informed person on this, but in their Japanese writing so far, no, they don't really use kanji.

Korea DOES use (some) kanji, so Koreans do know it, but I think most of it is the traditional characters from China. Likely the boys don't know how much of each word the kanji covers and also how the Japanese write it, so I'm guessing they play it safe and write everything in hiragana. :x
