No, it's okay!!

When I use the text tool and I want to make it diagonal I drag it on the picture. So when you wanna use the text tool and make it go diagonal drag it on the pic, and then it should be easy from there.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make any sense to you, I suck at explaining things!
