Ok, so, I wrote another one. I'm not as thrilled with it as I was with the last one, but ya know. Enjoy :)

Pairing: Chris/Steve
Summary: It's been a year since Chris turned Steve's whole world upside down.
A/N: I don't own these guys, obviously. And the title, and bits of the dialogue are blatantly ( Read more... )

I can see how talking about it before deciding to go on your separate roads wouldn't have helped
Oh wait, I can't!
Oh boys :(

Now you need to let us know how Chris 'fixed it' ;) If it did, that is :)

Who knows? Maybe talking about it wouldn't have helped?

Yeah, I'm thinking about writing that part of it. Just gotta figure out exactly if and how he 'fixes it'.

Thanks for reading!! :)

Goddammit, why don't I delete a few more messages after I've written them?! I'm certain this won't be as good as the first comment I wrote, but here goes ( ... )

Thanks!!! :)

It kinda started out as a 'blame Christian for everything' story. But by the time I got to Steve writing Stripped Down, I was like...no. lol. I'm not so sure talking it out rigt then and there would have fixed everything, and I could definitely see something like this happening to me. But neither of them is totally to blame. I actually kinda wanted Chris to be less guilty than Steve for this. He wasn't the one who just walked away without even trying, he just gave up when he saw that Steve had.

I'm definitely thinking of writing when Chris gets to LA and tries to explain what was really going on. Then Steve's got some serious apologizing to do ;)

Oh yay for sequel!! Yeah the evolution of the story is interesting and I like how you saw the light that it wasn't all Christian's fault, lol. It really makes sense which I love in a fanfic. If they had talked it out right then they probably both would have been upset and hurt but I think they would have kept working on it, but by walking away, then neither boy could reach out ( ... )

I totally understand where you're coming from talking about a more vulnerable Chris and a whinier Steve who just needs to step up. And that's pretty much how I see them. Chris has all these walls, and this big, tough-guy, cowboy, Christian Fucking Kane image, but he's really just kinda shy and insecure. You can hear it in the songs that he had a hand in writing. And Steve is more emotional, but he has all these outlets and he's more well-adjusted, he'd just rather write and sing and pretend nothing's wrong than take care of the guy who needs it, but he's the one who everyone sympathizes with because he's so much more open about things (see, I'm not doing a great job explaining it, either, but I totally understand what you were trying to say ( ... )

Completely unrelated, I didn't get any hot chocolate or breakfast this morning because they ran out!!! I'd be looking forward to it all month, sniffle, whine, whimper...I am hugely disproportionately upset about this. It was just breakfast but it was my little ray of sunshine and now it's gone and everybody else got some. And now I'm undoubtedly going to be bitchy for the rest of the day.

Ugh. That really sucks. I'm sorry!! I don't blame you for being upset. It's the highlight of your week!

Haha yeah that makes me sound like a loser...lol. Last night we made french fries because Moses found some Irish potatoes and wanted french fries. Obviously french fries are what I need right now considering my current diet and non-exercise, but it did make me feel a little better. And that makes me sound like a loser too

Haha getting excited over real food doesn't make you sound like a loser. It makes you sound hungry. lol. And yay for french fries!! French fries always make you feel better. It doesn't matter how unhealthy your diet is...you just need greasy, starchy crap every once in a while. ;)
