Is there any chance of waiting six weeks to collect the e-centre? I won't need it until Feb 1

Wow.. I actually wasn't thinking of foisting the e-center off on people, especially people I LIKE! It needs a pretty thorough cleaning (I have cats, you see) and it's huge and heavy and old.

How about this - come take a look at it before deciding you want it :) If you do indeed want it, we can talk storing it until you need it. (Worst comes to worst, I suppose we shove it off to one side of the room, but that is not the most ideal situation)

Depending on timing, we can probably help out with the truck thing.

An angel just got it's wings... I was actually going to ask if your vehicle might be available. (Was not planning on asking for lifting help, as I would prefer not to break either one of you, but a dolly should make it all go much more easily).

If you can't find a taker, you can always try freecycling. They'll come and get it.

Nani and I can probably help hauling. Just let us know when.

OoooH! *AND* I get to see you and Nani. I think that plan is full of win. Let me see if elgecko wants to come see the entertainment center before we decide when to cart it off, otherwise really, it can go any time I can coordinate you, Nani, me, Peter and the fabulous and wonderful truck volunteering tshuma.

I may have to feed you all or something. Oh. Noes.

RCA is very likely to be supported by the typical inexpensive universal remote and my mother's guest bedroom is missing its television. Is it in good cosmetic shape? Bright, clear picture?

What day works for you? Any chance in hell of being able to get it out of my car without hiring help?

I move furniture for a living. 32" is right at the boundary of manageability, where some models can be lifted safely and some can't. If I can't heft it alone then I'd have to come back in the afternoon of the 23rd.

It's a CRT TV, and VERY front heavy. I have never attempted to move it without two people, so I would suggest that no, it probably isn't the best idea to try moving it with just one.

The picture is perfect, still bright and clear, no ghosting, no funny tints (that I've noticed - granted one often tunes such things out, but I've not had anyone comment on it either).

You get first dibs if you are interested, and the afternoon of the 23rd should be fine.

Are you still planning on coming by Sunday to pick up the TV? If so, please let me know. We have plans Sunday, so I will need to know when you'll be by so I can plan around that. Thanks!

I have you down on my calendar between a 26' unload for a guy in Oakland (at 9) and a 24' unload for someone in Orinda (at 2).

On Sunday, 1pm would work best with 5pm a close second.

On Saturday Fred and I have a similar schedule, with back to back jobs in Walnut Creek starting at nine and availability after about 4pm.

I've lost both your phone number and your address, the former because I never had it and the latter because I haven't visited enough. You have my phone number. Remind me of both, and thanks!
