i'm probably not going to answer any more writer's block questions until they stop asking things about lj. but, i got my new camera today! so i will be able to start my one-a-day picture campaign. this camera isn't small enough to fit in my back pocket, so hopefully i won't break it by sitting on it like i did with my last one (oops - lesson

Very cool. Ive never seen a beach like this

it's hilo bay, which is a black sand beach. it also has a lot of debris from river run-off. people don't really swim here because it isn't very clean, and they paddling teams practice here.

the black line on the horizon is the break water!
