did anyone notice that in the opening to the fresh prince of bel air, Will takes a cab from west philly to california? i mean, is it assumed that he flew to LA, then took a cab? because when he says "i whistled for a cab", he's standing in front of the Hollywood sign. umm. just wondering.

Well, one can infer that he took a plane. To assume would be to make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me.'
