Dragon*Con Costuming....
With less than three months to go before Dragon*Con, I should be buckling down on my costuming for the convention. Where it Goes Awkward....
I've been useless since the weekend.
We've been adjusting my Topamax dosage, and that always screws me up pretty badly. On top of that my allergies have been pretty bad and I've been flaring due to all of the weather changes. This makes for one really useless Joie ( Read more... ) -
Work, Work, Work....
Still slogging through getting everything done for the online yard sale. I put about fifty pictures up online this evening and still need to do a bunch of ironing before the night is through. I'd like to take photographs, but the light in here is terrible at night, so that may have to wait until daytime tomorrow. It may be an early night tonight ( Read more... ) -
My Neurotic Dogs....
Cricket is afraid of storms. Like, terrified. Trembling, trying to fit under the bed, hiding in the bathtub terrified. This started a few months ago, so it's a fairly new development, and I'm not sure what sparked it. She used to be fine. Birthday Presents....
Mom is sending me birthday money. She has informed me I am not allowed to spend it on bills. I am not spending it on bills, I'm buying a couch instead. It's a used couch, but it's leather and in good condition, and I've been wanting to get rid of our current couch for quite a while. Filling My Days....
Now that I've come to the realization that I won't be able to attend classes this summer, I've turned my attention to filling my days while on break. I'm the sort of person that has to have something to do, or I go crazy. Ugh....
It's been a bad week.
I resigned from FoD staff on Sunday. The reasons are myriad and complicated and I don't feel like discussing them publicly.
On Monday I found out that I wasn't going to receive financial aid for the summer semester after all, thanks to a hidden loophole that the financial aid office conveniently forgot to mention the two ( Read more... ) -

Figures....
FoD event went well, but I managed to pull my neck and left shoulder in the process, so things are a little uncomfortable right now. It feels like the herniated disc is, well, herniated again. I can't turn my head more than an inch or two and looking up is absolutely agonizing. I can look down reasonably well, but it's still painful. Really, ( Read more... )
