So, as I mentioned a previous post, I'm taking the Intro to 3D course again to learn Maya. I was a little iffy about it but I think I'm getting used to it now. How difficult is 3D modeling? I ask out of curiosity; the very limited and basic 3D modeling I taught myself years ago took patience I didn't have, but I was using Blender. How's Maya?

I did some basic box modeling back in the day with 3ds Max but I finally decided to get formal instruction. At school they taught me XSI (which is awesome). I'm taking Maya this semester because they moved from XSI and my instructor, who is also the Department Chair, wants to teach people the software that will most likely get you a job (not to say XSI or Max or any other wouldn't, Maya just has a large market share
