Graphic novel suggestions
First, my and Tiffany's vacation to California a few weeks ago was pretty cool. We went to San Francisco and did a lot of touristy things, and it was all-around a good time. Life update
My last entry was not particularly happy, but things have gotten better since then so I figured I'd do a life update kind of thing here, just because I don't post very often but some people may be interested.

Short update
About two and a half weeks ago I had an "interview" with a life insurance broker for a case manager position. It wasn't so much an interview though as it was a typing test and a computer simulation with multiple choice questions. I just realized I have a duplicate copy of Audiosurf I bought waaaayy back when it was on sale on Steam for like $2.49 to gift to someone. Would anyone be interested in taking it? If so, just gimme your steamid. I'm pretty sure all of you guys are on my Steam friends list, but, you know, just in case.

Need some input (TJ I'm looking at you)
So, I've been excruciatingly bored lately. I've been playing a lot of video games, reading a lot, not working (no job currently), and basically letting my creativity stagnate. Well, in a way. The reading has been encouraging my imagination, which has in turn made me want to try something I never thought I'd try before: creative writing.

Graduate concert and a drawing
Tiffany and I went up to Milwaukee this weekend to visit asukakanzaki and aerialesque and see The Graduate in concert. It was a pretty awesome time; when The Graduate played, our group of people were the only ones in the crowd who were showing any enthusiasm for their music, so during the last song ("Don't Die Digging") the lead singer, Corey, came down into the audience ( Read more... )
