Becoming
There are days when I see myself morphing into the someone I don't want to be, someone I've strived so hard not to be and yet the wheel still comes full circle. Other days I can see what I hope to be. I can see the framework and it doesn't take much to picture what the rest will become. The days I look into the mirror and have no idea what I see. Great start to 2012
Aside from a kitten who has decided now is a perfect time to attack my hand, I'm enjoying 2012 already. I'm aware that it hasn't actually ticked over but I got some late leave approved meaning I don't actually work now until late next week. I have a five day weekend and that's fantastic regardless of anything else. This means watching the New Year' ( Read more... ) -
Discovery.
Sometimes discovery is no easy thing. You don't so much as learn something about yourself as much as acknowledge something you've always known to be true. It can be easily hidden away because you'd rather ignore it, not because of cowardice but more so lack of complication. Things are just easier one way than changing something that isn't right. I'm Alive!
I am indeed alive. Preoccupied, but now reminded that 104 weeks have passed.

Ushering in 2009.
As is my tradition of seeing in the New Year, I was asleep well and truly before midnight. I was awake shortly thereafter as all the messages started to arrive on my phone.
