It's closing on a year and a half since my last entry, so I suppose I should throw a couple of words on the page here. Sadly, as is the case with infrequent updates, so much has changed ... but so gradually that it more or less feels like the status quo. A sort of slow deviation of the baseline

Pittsburgh isn't as bad as I used to think it was. Maybe that's because I don't live in Oakland anymore and I own my home.

Married life treating you well? I know you got a head start. Heh. Our second anniversary is coming up soon, and I'm still saying, "Holy Crap! I'm married! Dude!"

Ah, home ownership. That's still in the future.

Married life is a weird beast with these hours. There are too many weeks where I spend more time in the hospital than out. I had an occasion last week where I woke up confused in the middle of the night wondering why I was spooning one of my fellow residents from the SICU, and it took me a minute before I realized it was my wife and not some female doctor I barely knew. It was really surreal.
