when you and i were talking last week i was really amazed by your desire to research and write and think about lotr and narnia etc. and i really was jealous that i could not think of something in which i had a strong enough interest to desire to do the same. and in class today i started thinking about salinger and his glass family of geniuses and the influence of this idea of talented children and its appearance in film/other literature/etc. and i thought "aha! i am not a lazy bum after all. i like to think." and i felt better. the end.

you are enjoyable. you are not a lazy bum, even in your laziness. although i would tell anyone who would listen about my lotr ideas, you're the kind of person that i delight in telling because i know that we are like-minded.
