So there's this russian kid in the teardown/washroom at work, Arseni. Cool guy, sorta quiet, with a heavy Russian accent when he talks, though he seems to speak English pretty well. I was asked today to machine a stud that goes between the structural dry sump oil pan of a Toyota formula atlantic engine, and the chassis. I get asked to make all sorts of cool parts in addition to automotive machining - great practice. Supposed to be 3/8" Diameter, 24TPI (fine) thread pitch, 1.350" measured length.
