I love Dean and think he's hilarious but he's such a heartbreaking character. Very much in need of an angel-hug! Thanks for reading and commenting.

Love the friendship that's deveoping between Dean and Castiel. If I were Dean and Sam kept disappearing to hook up with Ruby, I'd seriously think about splitting up. 'Cause-hello? Brother back from hell? No wonder poor Dean was lonely! (although Castiel is lower maintenance than Sam and eats less too!)

I had gotten away from watching Supernatural and then started watching it again this season. I love the whole idea of the 'God-side' of things rather than just the demons and what-not. And Castiel is just so intriguing.

I love Sam but Castiel and Dean are at the forefront of my fascination right now. It will be interesting to see what happens on the show. And in fanfiction. I'm amazed at the amount the has already cropped up.

An angel holding a McDonald's bag. For some reason that image disturbs me as much as when I saw a clown driving a car as red as his nose. It's just something that shouldn't mix in life. Anyway, cool story. It was a pleasure to read

I agree with you about it being a disturbing image, which is why I chose it. Castiel is experiencing humanity through his relationship with Dean and, because he's curious, he wants to experience more of what human beings experience...like walking to McDonalds. He isn't intentionally trying to 'fall', he just wants to know what it's like to be human. McDonalds is seemingly so far at the opposite end of the spiritual spectrum that, to me anyway, it seemed the most 'human' choice for him to get lunch, if that makes sense. Anyway, thanks for reading. Glad you liked it.

Dean is fun to write. And Castiel, just by virtue of being an entity (an angel) that we obviously know nothing about, he can be written in so many different ways. I'm amazed at all of the ideas that have been brought up in fanfic. It's so creative.

My take on things here is that Castiel is experiencing emotions that he's never experienced before, and it's all because of Dean so he associates these new and wonderful feelings with Dean. Naturally his affection for Dean would grow. Also, he believes that all of it is happening because of God's will. So, as he experiences these things and progressively becomes more 'human', he doesn't see himself doing anything wrong because he sees it as the task God gave to him and he doesn't question it.

And who can blame him? He gets Dean!

Thanks so much for reading. Glad you enjoyed it.

Fanfic is the best because we can do all the things that will likely never happen on the series *naughty grin* You can explore so many different ideas, which started on the show and expanded from there thanks to fanfic...which can then be expanded more. There is such great depth to them both, so that makes writing even easier and even more fun!

I really think you nail Castiel on the head as far as how he's experiencing things and his beliefs on these experiences. Really well said!

T'was my pleasure to read and I hope to read more by you someday!

Awww! There were so many things I loved about this. Castiel figuring out that Dean's lonely and being proud of himself, and the revelation that he wanted to be Dean's person, and Dean letting Castiel take his burden because god knows he'd never let Sammy do it, and Dean's chalking his disappointment up to his bladder, and of course Castiel walking to McD's, hahahha. There is just so much cute in this fic!

These characters are pretty synergistic because they have so much to learn from each other. I love Dean and Sammy together but I really feel that Dean needs Castiel. Like you said, he doesn't have an outlet for his suffering because he doesn't want to lay it all on Sam. I can't wait to see where they go with it in the show. Anyway, thanks for reading and commenting. I'm thrilled you like it.
