I;m glad you found something in it you liked. At least I think you did? I used to write more QAF, but now I write maybe 3 or 4 stories a year. jule

I'll admit I had a hard time at the beginning of the fic because of the timeline. It was tricky remembering what all had and hadn't happened by S4's end and then jumping forward in such a way, but that said, I always like it when writers explore some of the more destructive patterns in the B/J relationship. And Brian shutting Justin out when he's made vulnerable was definitely one of the biggies! Not to mention one that was never really resolved in any way, shape, or form canonically.

Anyway, I liked; it was right up my hurt/comfort alley. :)

This was sweet. I enjoy a story that can deal with a real problem in their relationship like Brian's need to appear perfect to Justin. However, this was a really soft Brian. But a sweet story.
