I am a complete sucker for mentions of the prom so this killed me:
Justin let out a breath. “I remember… that I was happy. Ecstatic.”

“Justin--”

“I remember the way you smiled at me.” Open, warm, vibrant. Free. “I remember that.”

“It’s when I fell in love with you,” Brian’s voice was raspy and raw.

Justin smiled. “I remember that, too.”

I like seeing Brian and Justin create a new life for each based on what they really want. Great ending!
