And then Brian was loving him, and he crossed his ankles at Brian’s back and clenched his ass, felt the gasp of Brian’s breath at his neck, tugged on Brian’s ear and kissed him. Loved him back. In their home.
Gah.
“It’s when I fell in love with you,” Brian’s voice was raspy and raw.
Oh, my heart!
“I got you,” Brian said. Sometimes Brian just did not play fair.
Aww! Brian's evil. I love it.
One moment Brian’s arm was slung carelessly across his eyes, his mouth open, his breathing even. The next he was sitting up in bed, eyes unfocused, his fingers digging painfully into Justin’s arm. “What the fuck? Are you okay?”
This part was great because I could completely see Brian doing that.
With Brian’s arm warm and heavy at his waist, Justin felt alive.
I'll see you whatever everyone else has said with the "I got you" and prom bits as being absolutely wonderful. But I'll also raise you the brilliantness of Brian thinking a chair was a good enough reason for Brian to call Justin at work, and the fantastic image of the cigarette smoke and breath mixing in the air. You could feel the cold.
YES. Excellent fix! Justin DID want to be a graphic designer. And as a true artist, he probably really wouldn't care about being "famous". Seriously, that was so not the point, yet it kept being worked around to that.
As I said to someone above, I really wanted to address that Justin had never expressed any interest in painting or being rich and famous prior to Season Five, and while it's perfectly logical for him to be swept up in the moment of the experience, he would ultimately realize that the struggle was not worth the payoff when the payoff wasn't even something he particularly wanted.
