The ballroom scene was lovely, I choked up a little when Justin remembered the “other dance” - and then: “It’s when I fell in love with you,” Brian’s voice was raspy and raw. ….Justin smiled. “I remember that, too.” So beautiful.
I think I’ve found a new favourite 3 word response “I got you”.
First of all, anything with a Freddie Mercury lyric wins me over instantly! LOL
Secondly, I like that besides the wonderful reunion of B/J, the thing I love is that we finally here that Justin was always passionate about animation, illustration and graphic art. This is more canon than the sudden immersion of Justin into painting during S5. While it was definitely an extension of his skills and passions, it was never his focus during the first 4 seasons.
I said this to someone above, but I'll repeat it here: I really wanted to address that Justin had never expressed any interest in painting or being rich and famous prior to Season Five, and while it's perfectly logical for him to be swept up in the moment of the experience, he would ultimately realize that the struggle was not worth the payoff when the payoff wasn't even something he particularly wanted.
