This is to announce that the sign-ups for qaf_anon are now officially closed.

Now just to remind you of the pertinent details that you are to focus on:
1. The Prompt:
"Go ahead, push your luck,
Find out how much love the world can hold"
Remember: The story doesn't actually have to use the prompt in the text, it only has to suggest it. It's just a starting point from which the story is based.
2. The Last Date:
April 16, 2006. That means 6 weeks from now. However, feel free to send in your entry anytime before that. Meaning, if you finish it a week from now, or a week before time, you don't have to wait till the last minute to send it in. Just send it whenever you and/or your beta is done with it.
3. The Restrictions:
No Mpreg and No rape-themed fics allowed. Any other warnings, e.g. Character Death, are to be clearly stated in the header of the story when submitting.
4. The Other Details:
Aside from warnings, you must also include your username, as well as any ratings, timeframe, or genre etc. that you feel are important to the story. We will post it minus the username, of course, but will include the other relevant info in the header.
5. Posting Rights:
Since this is an Anonymous Fanfic Contest, you are requested not to post your story anywhere until the contest is over and the winners/authors announced. Once that is done, you can post it wherever you want. But until then, we appreciate your support in maintaining the anonymity. :)
6. Where the stories will be posted:
As the results of our poll from 25-Feb suggest, the majority of readers/writers (36:12) declared that we should post the contest stories here in the community itself, rather than making a seperate journal for it. So that's what we're gonna do. Apparently, most of us don't mind our flists being spammed for a good cause --- that being tons of awesome B/J stories being posted. :D
7. The Voting and the Vote-counters:
The voting will commence from April 18, 2006 and will go on for a week. As you are aware, our official, and completely unbiased, vote-counters are going to be paddies and kitkatbyte, who will help us keep the voting process honest and transparent.
