Just loved this most amazing story. One of the best gap fillers I've read for S5. REally enjoyed this and felt who ever wrote this got Justin and Brian voice right on the money.

I told myself I wasn't going to do this, but I'm going to. I think the author is vamphile. I won't say why I think this, but there's a section that ...reminds me.

And regardless of who the author is, I should tell you how much I liked the way that this fic answered the prompt, used it and played with it, all the way to the end.

I'm always a bit wary about gapfillers in general because I feel it is then more than ever that characterization is most critical. You know, because the reader has already seen the context onscreen and has their own beliefs about what each character's motives were, what they were thinking, feeling, etc.

So, kudos for selling this gapfiller! I heard Brian and Justin's voices so clearly in this and my heart broke yet again for what might have been.

Also: Me suspects I know this writer...There is something very familiar here, but I can't put my finger on it. Will have to think some more... ;)
