I loved this gapfiller, and felt very spoilt that the pov changed so often, filling in all the tiniest feelings and details behind the screen moments. Voices were perfectly Brian and Justin.
There was a great feeling of romance throughout, from the gesture of Brian signing the papers, to his surprise visit to the studio and convincing Justin to choose a ride to West Virginia rather than wait for his pizza! and then the nervous moments at the house leading up to his successful sales pitch. I loved this: “Ask, ask, ask…. If I can tell him I love him with a stare, can I make him ask what he needs to know… finally he asks.”
And I loved Justin’s: “…He took a big fucking risk. And if I said no…who’s the asshole then? I’ll let him be the asshole in this relationship. I say yes.

I'm a sucker for gapfillers, and this one had a spectacular Justin voice. Although everyone thinks that getting the Brian voice down is so difficult, I find that many don't work quite so hard on Justin, and he is a really difficult one to find, perhaps because he had so MANY DIFFERENT ONES IN CANON! LOL! But this one is just perfect, and is reminiscent of the snarky, but matured voice from season one which is one he should have never lost.
You took me into the minds of Brian and Justin in a part of canon that I never really believed, and you made me believe it. I didn't think that could be done, but you did it. Congrats to whoever the author is. I applaud you.
