I seriously scoured my Kindle to try to figure out which fic this was... and after looking through over 200 fics, I gave up ( although I did find quite a few great fics to recommend to my sister). Considering that I have like 700 stored/sorted fics a & 800+ unsorted ones, it's not so surprising I couldn't find it.

Np! You know, I've downloaded a couple fics to my kindle (and the only fics I've ever downloaded have been Sam/Dean or J2 fanfics...sad, I know lol), but I love my laptop much more than my kindle so I don't use it nearly as much as I should. Hmmm, maybe I'll go play over on AO3 today and see what I can find.

AO3 was totally my playground (and I've mostly read J2 fanfic, because I got started on it while I was trying to get caught up with the show (I started late Season 5), and there was JUST. SO. MUCH!!! That I got sucked in, and have been immersed on that playground ever since.
I *have* read some good Sam/Dean fanfic, but mostly those that my sister, hsifeng has recommended, or by authors or lists she recced
