My new guilty pleasure for the 2007-08 TV season has been Chuck. If you've not stumbled across this off-beat comedy, Run - don't walk - to your favorite site to download episodes. See that was me. It only tuned in the first episode 'cause Adam Balwin was in it ... and I think I've read just about every Janye slash fic in the Firefly universe because of that actor. Heck, I wanted to jump his bones when he was in Independence Day. So I got dragged in. But, oh, the cast is so much fun. I'd never get anything from that Buy More for fear of it being bugged ... but love, love, love the whole cast. Baldwin is just a extra bonus, oh so sweet, though.

I have never actually seen Chuck before, but I keep hearing that the show is great. It is worth hunting down a few episodes?

If you liked 1st season Heroes - especially the first couple episodes - you'll love Chuck. The acting, humor, and writing are just superb. I like that it has a little depth with it's humor. I love that later episodes take some known facts and turn them upside down. I love, love, love the Buy More - um,it's a freaky version of Circuit City or CompUSA. Every single person in the Buy More doesn't move the spy story forward but they make Chuck & Casey & Sarah so very human. Try a couple episodes - maybe 3 or 4 - they are available for download at Amazon and iTunes (i think). It's well worth your funds and time. I'd say go after the boxed dvd's but I can't find them yet.

And Adam Baldwin, sigh, he's so great!
