It is like Marigold and Angus are sharing a cheese stick or something Lady and the Tramp style in the first panel. The window ledge lines up with their lower lips so perfectly!

Hmm... I knew most of the spoilers. Most were obvious, of course, but "He was dead the whole time" took a bit of time to recall. I figured out "Aeris Dies" from a google search, but I still have no idea what "It was the the trees" refers too.

Can I get an assist? ;)

I also just wanted to say that panels 4-6 are a masterclass in sheer fucking awersome.
