WOO Vince! I am totally cheering you on about the new jorb possibilities! (And the people in the computer lab are all looking at me like I'm ca-razy:)
Those Nelly Furtado/Fluffernutter/Tully Deez Nutz drinks are no joke! I barely finished one once and I was a force to be reckoned with. Crowded bars annoy me too. That's why the bars in our Portland neighborhood were my steez. They had enough people to keep the scene lively but not too many so you could still easily get a drink and have an actual conversation.
Too be fair to the bar I met up with Vince and everyone else in, there was only 1 area that was so loud you couldn't talk (the dance floor). Unfortunately when the girls get the drinks in them that where they go so we werent able to drag everyone outside to where we could hear.
Thanks! I can actually understand the rigorous interview process in this case. The group I would be working in only has 12 engineers (including the manager) and most of their projects are only 2-3 people. So hiring the right person is pretty critical.

The first bar was cool. Plenty of room, a Dave Matthews compilation on the box, and it wasn't too loud.
