Thank god! It's like no one I know has ever heard of them! And they are only THE science fiction series...like...number one!

Any Asimov sci-fi is wonderful. He's the only sci-fi I'll read.

You took a train? That is awesome.

Elise, it's Sunriver. There's cute guys there ALL THE TIME. But cute skiier/snowboarder boys do tend to congregate in the winter.

No no, train NOT awesome! Train really late! With very questionable persons on board...

I've read all of the canonical ones, but it was over ten years ago.

Elise, I don't really know you that well, but I was glancing at your journal and saw a mention of Isaac Asimov. He is fucking amazing. I have read a good 75% of his 300 fiction books, and quite a few of his non-fiction stuff. The foundation trilogy were what started my love of Asimov.

Ah! Yes!!!

You have no idea how shocked I am that so few people seem to know of him, and he is like...the god of science-fiction! I'm loving the series (only at Foundation and Empire though) and can't wait to find some time to read more of them.

Are you doing full IB? (I'm trying to figure out why we've never had any classes together...)

Well, I'm basically doing full IB, all the classes and five tests. I think my German and HL Math are probably what did it. Anyways, if you want any of Isaac Asimovs books, I'd be happy to loan some of them to you, God knows I have enough of them.

Personally, I find Asimov's short stories much better than his novels, while his novels are good, the short stories blow my mind. His stories generally rely on a single premise, and with the short stories you just get the problem and the resolution without any fluff (and fluff isn't his strong suit).
