All right, so I'm posting a chapter of a random story I've had floating around. Why am I doing this? For the sake of feeling like I've accomplished something.
Keeping The Peace is a humor-fic about Sirius Black and Severus Snape having to share Grimmauld Place during the summer months. It's an AU fic, just to warn you, and was started mostly

You are totally my hero. I mean that in a completely non-platonic way, also. I may have already asked you this, but do you ever write anything non-fanfic? I am working on a fictional story right now about an angry waitress (Okay, so maybe it's not ENTIRELY fictional).

I do write original work, and I get really pissed off with it pretty frequently. I get this idea of what's supposed to happen, but I never know how to MAKE it happen.
And I'm a bad liar, so I have to write mostly from personal experience. Unless, of course, I decide I'm going to tell a random story, which usually is pretty amusing. I wrote a story about a girl taking a walk with fish. It floated in the air. They ended up visiting this faerie place, where the prince and princess of the faerie land had disappeared.
I don't know what happened next, though. I'm not even sure I'm keen on the faerie part; it would be much more interesting if she and the fish went to meet the Floating Fish Tribe. Then saved it from a giant, three-toed walrus.
You should totally post you story about the angry waitress. I would read it.
