It's official:

QI moves to BBC 1 in January 2009.

It's pretty guaranteed, however, that two episodes will be shown before the new year switchover:
(1) Children in Need - 14 November 2008
(2) Christmas episode - sometime around Christmas

Stephen has endorsed a book called 'Joined-up Thinking' by Stevyn Colgan which is, apparently, all about everything being interconnected. It's got lots of QI-type facts arrnaged in 'Rounds' - circular chapters of connected trivia. John Mitchinson has also written a cover quote so it looks like the QI team are involved in it. Do you know any more?
