interview, dinner, drinks, date request, fried food due to presence of grumpy polish man

a good weekend. interview for the grad program went very well. well enough at least that the interviewer told me at the end of the interview that my application is very strong. Now that would be a crushing blow to my assessment of my own interpersonal skills should it not translate to me getting an acceptance letter a month and a half from now, ( Read more... )

where is this Psy.D program?

I think I'll have to go the Ph.D. route for funding purposes.

it's one of 4 out here. very little by way of financial aid, but a really good student loans program. it appealed to me mostly because you get to do clinical work from your first year on. given my circuitous route, art degree, no psych undergrad work but a few years doing counseling work of assorted varieties it seemed the most tenable to me...also i'm not super interested in the research end of things.

are you thinking about where for the PhD already? If so you are way ahead of where i was in undergraduate. i think at 20 i was trying to decide between rabbi and ceramist.
