X-mas party organizer?

Huh? Did I miss something here. I don't know how it happened but it did. Apparently my office wants a small get together for Christmas and some how, some way I'm stuck with organizing it. I don't mind doing it, but it seems weird that they would ask me since I've only been living in this city for less than a year, so my selection is limited. Oh

Megan, how much are you allowed to spend? There's a ton of great eats (and I'm not even from TO).

The party is for 16 - 20 people. With dinner and wine, we can probably spend about $2500. I know there are a lot of cool places here in TO, problem is finding the right venue that will suit everyone. I need something a bit more conservative. I have a couple of picks in mind, but just want to see if there is anything out there that I might miss. Thanks ^_^

Oh, yeah. Hung out with Alfred last night. He's a funny drunk! Very entertaining. ^_^

He got drunk again? DAYEM! Yeah, he's pretty funny, even after he winds down. He's like a machine that doesn't respond. He'll stare into space, with this tired look, his mouth opened (looking like he's gonna drool), and has a hunched back. Did he get to that stage?

Your X-mas office party

Hey there Megan.. Sorry for such a late reply, I've been a lil tad busy :). Anyhow, I just finished talking w/ Ben and he said that your office X-mas party will consist of 16-20 people ( let's make it 22, cuz yo u'll never know who else wants to join) and the budget is $2,500.00 max right?.. If so.. do you know what your staff prefer having, like ummm.. are they more of the red meat & potatoes type or seafod, pan-asian, jap, vegetarian.. etc.. etc.. and are they big fish drinkers or are they not.. because as you know, the prices for eating and drinking are 2 different new ball games. And also, can most of them travel the distance or are they more "downtown subway-ish".. because there's a few restaurants that I have in mind... I'm just trying to eliminate some for you sao you wouldn't have to stress out with this whole situation.. :D.. Anyhow, I'll try my best to email you back ASAP (~_*)!
