I cackled like a fiend (freaked the dog out) when I got to what role Sherlock was playing. That's actually who I'm hoping Benedict gets to play and when I read the scene, I cracked the hell up.

I hope he plays Smaug too. He's said it's his dream role, and besides the slash would be tremendous. Can you imagine him playing anything else with that voice? Well, okay, yes, you probably can, because he looks exactly like an elf. Which offers only one solution: MULTIPLE ROLES FTW.
