This is my first time posting at your journal, and I just want to give a hearty thank you for your fabulous job of translating! Your hard work is much appreciated.
Poor, poor Takaya. I'm not sure whether to hand him a towel or a woobie! :) As for the plot, I'm lost as usual, but it's all just so purty and impressive. And Chiaki rocks in this chapter.
That is one messed up school. Anyway, I liked the conversation between Chiaki and Takaya. He seems pretty concerned about Takaya and I think it's pretty rare for him to show that. This was a great chapter!
Thanks for the translation. The school setup is interesting and once more Kagetora comes this close to remembering Naoe's quasi-death. Nagahide's POV was also interesting; he's beginning to feel some actual sympathy for Kagetora and at the same time is wondering what Irobe is up to. The part where he describes Kagetora trying to keep up a strong facade reminds me of Vol.3 where Takaya and Haruie riding a train to Sendai and Haruie notes that thirty years ago Kagetora was also struggling to keep up a strong face in public; a major difference is that back then he had Minako but we really aren't given any details on their relationship beyond her comforting him.
thanks for translating this chap, poor takaya i hope chiaki will help him overcome his mental disorder...and iam glad to read this after coming back from my vacation :D
Hi there, I came across your journal via my flist. Just got my novels in japanese but unfortunately it will be a while before I can actually read them, so I'm really grateful for your work! <3 Do you mind if I friend you?
