 Today, Mark and I werewatching a reairing of the 2000 miniseries, "Jason and the Argonauts" on the ion network...and I recognized Jolene Blalock (that's T'Pol from Enterprise) by voice, and then I couldn't believe my eyes - the cast also included James Callis (yes, Gaius Baltar himself) as well!

I'm such a dork.

Well, since my last posting - things have definitely improved in my little world.

Mark's back at the shipyard and employed - so money won't be stressing me out as much.

I'm traveling a lot, but enjoying it again.

I've finished the paperwork for my class this semester, and I'm hoping for an A!

  A year ago, there were two Brothers, no regular meeting time/place, and a worry of many that there wouldn't be a chapter left to celebrate the 20th anniversary in December 2008.

Today, the Alpha Beta Omega chapter held it's 2nd pledge ceremony, and the grand total of pledges is....THIRTY-FOUR!  (Ok, there's only 5 Brothers, but they have a plan)

Mark had his hernia surgery on Monday.  Turns out, it was 1) larger than anticipated, and 2) a double.  Yup, that means that they found a second tear that needed fixing as well.   I was beginning to go nuts...he went back for prep at 12:30, figuring that he'd be on the table at 1p, and done by 2p.  Well, it was well after 3 before the doc came out ( Read more... )
