The Florida trip was a *wonderful* time, until about 5pm on Saturday. (but I’ll get to that in a bit)

On January 9, 2008, I will become the Vice-President of EAGHR, which is the Educational Alliance of Greater Hampton Roads.  This is a two-year term, with automatic ascension to President for two years.  Elections were held at the December monthly meeting.

I wasn't with him when it happened, but Mark got pulled over tonight on his way to an APO Initiation.  Why?  Because a cop happened to pull behind him, run his tags, and see that his name on the registration came up as someone with former DUI's.  He wasn't doing anything wrong, and there was no reason for the cop to pull him over...just because his ( Read more... )

It all started Monday afternoon, when I started feeling a little scratchy in the voice.  Yesterday, it was worse.  Today, when I woke up - I could barely muster a whisper.  Called from work, went to the doc in the afternoon.  Got mold (penicillin), and doc told me to stay home and rest my voice for the rest of the week.  *sigh*

That is the count of 'fights' that Mark and I have had in the past month - and lest you be scared, that's the count of the number of fights that we've had since we've been married!  And in a sense, they weren't really 'fights,' but 'mad-at-each-other' incidents, and they've both been caused by misunderstandings....about APO stuff, of all things.   ( Read more... )
