Yay.  Today was my first real negotiation with an attorney.  We sort of bartered (in reality, I made reasonable demands and he sounded agreeable).  So that gets me a quick allowance and gets the case off the docket if it works out well.

Now for more work!

 It only takes me MINUTES (well more like an hour based on the fact that I'm always goofing off on LJ, AIM, Facebook, CNN, Wikipedia, WoW forums), to zone in one really good prior art to reject patents nows, instead of the days it used to take before.  Now, if I could stop goofing off for a few hours, I could probably get months of work done!!

Work ebbs and flows.  I got 34 hours of work done in the past 2.5 days, which is pretty amazing and I'm still psyched to do more.  But now I have to edit some of that work, which is depressing and may backtrack on my work ( Read more... )
