It's been five months since I've started gymming again, so I decided it was time for progress shots. (I thought it had been six months but judging by my "
before" post, apparently not. Oh well.)
When I was taking these photos I was thinking, "meh, I guess I'll do this even though there's not much of a change." Uhh. Before shots come in handy.
There are areas that obviously still need work (arms are hard), but I'm pleasantly surprised.
My contract with a trainer is up this month, and because I'm cheap I don't really want to renew. He's been super-helpful, obviously, but seeing actual progress and feeling better overall makes me believe I can continue on my own. I only see him once a month to begin with, and something I forget I have a trainer at all. Whoops.
But my body is good to tell me when I'm being lazy. I get really antsy when I don't move. That's more than I can say for my previous gym attempts. If only I didn't have a job where I sit at a desk all day. ha.
