I hope they do! The US aren't doing so well, and I want to lord it over at least SOME of my friends when we inevitably kick their asses. ;)

Hah! I want to see an Australia v. England match.

"Convicts!"
"Whinging Poms!"

It's going to be tough beating Croatia though to get through. At least we only have to draw to win by goals, but still... it'll be a toughie.

I'm not interested in watching the soccer (*gasp!*)

But if you are, let me know the results ...I drew out Australia in our World Cup Sweep at school - and I want to know if I have to kiss my $5 goodbye or not. :P

Well, you probably know by now that Australia got through to the second stage, even though we drew with Croatia. Interesting game.

Good luck with the tipping -- it's nice to see Australia get through this far, but somehow I think you might have to say goodbye to your $5 sooner or later. =)

Has Australia ever actually made it to the semifinals? ^_^

This was the first time we ever scored a goal in the World Cup, let alone make it through to the second stage.

To get taken out like we did was really devestating.
