So I wasn't clear... do you NOT like Adult Swim? You used the word "sublime", which makes me think you do like it, but for ironic reasons. I don't know, tone is so hard to convey via the written word at times. Man, TV does sure suck!

TV sucks because we suck. And by "we" I mean society at large. TV people make TV for one reason: to make money. And how do they make money? By getting people to watch their programming, which allows them to charge embarrassingly large amounts of money for ads. So, the fact that there are so many shit shows on television really tells you one thing: a lot of shit heads are tuning in to watch. Television can be a many wonderous thing, my friend. Television isn't the problem, the people watching it is. And how do we rectify this sullied situation? Mass genocide. Works every time.
