Congrats on the new job! i'm stuck in a crappy job myself, and of course Michigan has the worst economy on the planet right now. so i'm checking out other states, maybe i'll have better chances elsewhere. who knows, maybe i'll end up in your area. anyway, good luck with everything! woo!
yes, i've heard that Michigan isn't doing so well and i can't really promise that Oregon is much better, as far as job opportunities go, but if you can find a job here it's a great place to live. i hope that you find something you really like. you just have to keep looking all the time.
