So, I found this rather interesting book, illustrated by the always-wonderful Edward Gorey and written by "Hyacinthe Phypps," published in 1965, called The Recently Deflowered Girl: The Right Thing to Say on Every Dubious Occasion. i'm gonna chase the sky forever
Finished my traffic story the other day (woohoo!), and was able to send it over to Zoe a full 23 hours before my deadline (double woohoo!). The prompt was just "Traffic," and it had to be between 500 and 1000 words, and I did like four different versions before finally arriving at my completed short story, which clocks in at 996 words. Boy, 2008 was a hell of a year. One of my worst, I think. I'm praying 2009 will be better, what with college and all. Fingers crossed!
I think the party went really well, although clean-up was a bitch, lol. I hate those fucking party poppers and I wish they were never invented. That is all.
