Yamamoto Takeshi learns not to notice the ringing in his ears - made even more piercing in the echoing hollows of the church - the spatter of blood on his cheek. He gets off easy this time; at least there is a definite lack of brain matter on the suit. He cannot say the same for the spatter on the back of the pews, though.

You are really good with this kind of writing :o Awesome fic. Starting it off with a prayer was a nice touch, too. Though it was a bit cynical for Yamamoto it worked really well.

After getting into the fandom, every time I heard Jay's song I can't help but think that it'll make a nice addition to a fic, and here you did it! It's beautifully written. And the Chinese line in the middle makes the whole scene very movie-like for me, since I'm from HK myself. XD
