So, my brother is trying to get into Berea College in Kentucky and he asked me to look over the essay he wrote for his application. The topic was "talk about how you got through a hard time" or something to that effect. And can I just say, I teared up when I read it. So, I've been listening to a lot of new music recently and have really gotten into Kings of Leon. The lead singer's voice initially grabbed my attention because I love that gritty, emotional, on-the edge type of voice, much like Glenn Hansaard from the movie/soundtrack Once. Ah, the first day of a new year. It's pretty wild that 2009 is already over. It didn't seem like it lasted that long. It's crazy, really.
