I intend to. I think I may take pictures during each of the stages.

Also, I was looking at that picture of the button bag you posted. Lisa, I could so make that for you. Start collecting buttons and send them to me and I'll start collecting buttons, too. Together we could get enough together to make a cool bag like that. The funnest part about quilting and crafting stuff like that is actually collecting the material to make it. That's why I love crazy quilts more than patterned quilts. Each square has a memory attached to it, even if you go out and bought it at the store instead of reusing it from something else. The fisrt quilt that I did was a crazy quilt that I did with my grandma. She taught me how to do quilt with that one. I did everything--EVERYTHING by hand. I have an awful lot of memories in that quilt--even the stains!

I can't wait to see you piece together a quilt.

I don't even know where to start in regards to hunting down buttons, but I would LOVE it if you could make me a bag like the one I posted in my journal. You're so crafty! Where do you think I should look for buttons? Is that a dumb question? Probably.

Flea markets, antique stores. Craft stores. the sidewalk. I keep all of my buttons in a jar when I buy new clothes that come with buttons.
