Maybe its my inner accountant speaking, but why do we not force political parties to publish a budget in the manifesto that actually balances? Its not just that nearly all men everywhere have an icebreaker with more depth than the good old British weather. LJ used to be an awesome method for keeping in touch with people and their interesting views on life. It has been replaced by facebook for that now, which is like big brother to LJ's newsnight.
I am fighting back. Journal re-starts as of now as my record of my views on life.

hooray! as of yesterday the TV season started again. Nights are drawing in and Halloween is a'coming. It wont be too hot to sleep anymore, and going to bed at 10.30 wont seem creepy and unnatural cos its still light. We have about a week and a half before I start complaining that it is always raining and misty and too cold.

Have moved my car full of stuff into my very small room. Wasnt sure it was actually possible (and am damn sure it wont all stay in its place) but for now almost everything is tidied away. Oxford seems to have moved on without me whilst I was gone and is not nearly as familiar as it ought to be. Am worried about not getting fired at new job tomorrow ( Read more... )
