I found out this morning that a close friend of the family, who has basically been a surrogate grandfather to me, died last night. He'd only been ill in hospital for a few days with an infection. His funeral is on Friday next week in the Isle of Man; we've got tickets booked to fly out there late Thursday afternoon. I believe I'm expected to sing ( Read more... ) -

Haven't had a chance, staying at parents' house for various reasons. Also, been busy with other stuff - mostly Doctor Who fic-writing (must try to get them up online soon, at least some of them!) and tinkering with The Doctor's Rose Forum - purty new skin, so it's more colourful.
