....I just heard back from the realtor. The offer I made on one place was accepted. Though my offer was a tad bit more than I wanted to spend, the place was too good to pass up. Lets just hope nothing comes up in the inspection. *crosses fingers*

Alright, so I wound up finding a place I really liked. So much so that I made an offer. here is what happened:

The place was listed at $134k
It was last assessed as $128k
My offer: $130k and for them to pay $4k in closing.
Their counter offer: The agreed to the 4k in closing, but bumped the price up to $135k.

Okay... some people need to get a life. I'd expect a story like this over at The Onion, but this is CNN! Which means its actually true! ~facepalms~

You know, I've read multiple things about bad customer service where the employee is on the phone while a customer is in the store standing right there.
