I am with you. queers of all flavors get up the fuck in arms over their hot button issues same as any other group of people.

At the same time... you have to imagine that at least some straight dude has tried to insinuate himself into at least one lesbian event at least once for the wrong reasons, or that it is a valid fear that one might try.

Still, a simple explanation should have sufficed.

it just doesn't make sense to me.the queer community is always begging for understanding and acceptance, yet i almost feel like they are hypocrites.

youre right. I dont care anymore though. why should I? I can legally marry my girlfriend now and they can't. If they cant at least be kind then good luck getting votes for political stuff.

Now this is a reason why there's annimosity between the two camps. Transmen are seen as people who couldn't deal with being gay, and so they transitioned, seeking out heterosexual privilege, so "they defected from the community." And with what you just said, you confirmed that bunkish belief.

Now, guys, as much as it doesn't feel nice, you are trying to have your cake and eat it too. You want to stay in queer women's space, but you want to assert your male identity, and you wan tot no longer walk in the world as a queer owman, but as a man. It's kind of an oxymoron. I understand the sadness and feeling of loss over the community that has been so important to you, but... you really don't fit there so much anymore...

You have no idea how hard I had to work to get my college GSA to even recognize the fact that transgender people aren't nasty freaks. I came out to a few of them, and they knew I wasn't a freak. I left there like three years ago, but I have a friend there that's kind of upholding that. She's mtf and makes sure to mention transgender stuff to them when she can.

yea, I hear ya. sometimes the most judgmental folk are the one's who say don't judge me. but of course we're going to judge because its only human nature. you know sometimes lesbians me make so mad because they can be such separatists at times.
