I did not go to pride. I went to San Diego instead. I'm not quite ready for public appearance on such a large scale yet so I chose working and shopping by the beach. Beyond that, I don't think there is enough xanax to get me through seeing R. It’s been nearly a year and I’m pretty over it all, but these things are easy to recover from when there’s a thousand mile buffer. Out of sight, out of mind, eh? Maybe we can pride together next year. I totally plan to be together by then.
(Maybe we should talk soon because I clearly feel a need to use you as an emotional barf bucket...or maybe I just miss your voice...and your face...)

My schedule is completely insane too. I don't think I'll be able to make it up there until at least September. Maybe we should scrap all plans to visit. You grab the Vancouver people, I’ll grab the California people…we’ll meet on the beach in Kauai…toot sweet!
