For once in many years, I am sad that my trip to Ontario is over. ugh. i spent 2.5 hours fixing my interview tape that snapped off the real today. i thought i was going to cry. it's an awesome interview and i don't think I could have convinced my participant to do it again, and it might not have been as good...and too rehersed. anyway,  i had to tear apart the cassette and pull the tape out, cut off another tape ( Read more... )

my bro and his wife finally had their baby yesterday morning! too bad I couldn't stay in Ontario for her to be born :( they named her Jiera Ella. It's Lithuanian, usually pronounced Yiera, but they like the sound of the J. 
needless to say that I'm super excited and have something new to look forward to my next visit 'home'.

it's been a short trip...so far. Glennis and I left Vancouver Monday morning after a Sunday night hot tub party pride weekend. I ended up hammered at the party and making myself sick before we flew off at 7am. it's a wreck beach day! it'll be my first beach going experience with my new chest! i'm really excited. i have my SPF 60 sunscreen, but don't plan on sunning my scars too much. it scares me. we finally have some nice weather.
