I used to be one of those "remember the real reason why we're celebrating today" people. but, I figure you're all adults, you don't need me to remind you.. for me, I read the Declaration of Independence and selected bits of the constitution. because there may be a lot wrong with this country...but there's a lot right too.

woot! potato gun wars!

first you hear a "whump!" sound from the other side of the woods (two houses away)...and then you see the potato flying over the trees...the crowd makes an appropriate sound...big oohs and ohs should they actually hit our yard...suggestions on where to aim if they miss...

well, that's good news! I just got a call that I'll be getting a raise $1.00 per hour...

it's something.

but they'll be trying to take $ out of my next check because they think they overpaid me on the last...which they didn't. but now I have to give them the slip that proves they didn't, and I can't find it.

well, apparently not this monday, ha ha.

it's alright though, the library next door has computers that I can use...anyway...stuff to do and all

so, shut off day is monday...she said the fifth, but that's a tuesday. so, it could also be next monday. note to self...ah, never mind, I wont be able to read it in a while.
